Job Purpose

Plug and Play is one of the largest startup ecosystems, providing both top-tier Corporations and startup companies from all around the world a one-stop shop for all of their Silicon Valley needs. Plug and Play Ventures sources startups for investment and our in-house startup accelerator programs. We source thousands of startups all over the world and link them with the leading global corporations in their industry. We research internal external trends, engage startups, and help define strategy.

We are looking for a Ventures Associate to help support our dynamic Ventures Team. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, familiar with the start-up ecosystem, driven, articulate, and enjoy working with others in a fun and fast-paced environment. This individual must have an understanding of investments and how they are made along with a demonstrated interest in technology, start-ups, and corporate innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help source and evaluate new investment opportunities
  • Build financial analyses for individual companies and the venture capitol portfolio as a whole
  • Manage incubation initiatives and engagement with startups
  • Provide high-touch support and value-add for our portfolio companies
  • Provide solid consult to portfolio companies and schedule deal review sessions
  • Support Ventures team with both internal and external expos and meetups
  • Assist the Ventures tea in all projects and initiatives



  • Qualifications

    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years experience in a startup ecosystem
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during heavy workload periods/events
  • Experience with performing due diligence for investment opportunities
  • Exceptionally strong analytical, research and writing skills and an innate curiosity
