Job Purpose

Plug and Play is one of the largest startup ecosystems, providing both top-tier Corporations and startup companies from all around the world a one-stop shop for all of their Silicon Valley needs. Plug and Play Ventures sources startups for investment and our in-house startup accelerator programs. We source thousands of startups all over the world and link them with the leading global corporations in their industry. We research internal external trends, engage startups, and help define strategy.

We are looking for an Investment Relations Manager to help support our dynamic Ventures Team. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, familiar with the startup ecosystem, driven, articulate, and enjoy working with others in a fun and fast-paced environment. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in investor relations, with the ability to take on added responsibility within Plug and Play’s Ventures team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage VC contacts, assist with investor targeting, and facilitate key relationships with investors and startups
  • Constant outreach to VC firms and investors
  • Assist with competitive and market analysis
  • Provide high-touch support and value-add for our portfolio companies
  • Provide support to portfolio companies and schedule deal review sessions with investors and corporations
  • Support the Ventures team with both internal and external expos and meetups
  • Assist the Ventures team in all projects and initiatives



  • Qualifications

    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts/techniques used by analysts and investors, or direct financial planning experience
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels and thrive in a cross-functional, growth business environment
  • Experience with a start-up ecosystems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during heavy workload periods/events
  • Experience with performing due diligence for investment opportunities
  • Exceptionally strong analytical, research and writing skills and an innate curiosity
