This month Plug and Play Tech Center Founder and CEO Saeed Amidi and Plug and Play International Relations Manager Mohannad El-Khairy traveled to Istanbul to explore the possibility of building a bridge for entrepreneurs between Turkey and the Silicon Valley.

In meetings with TurkCell (the largest Telco in the country and also a Corporate Partner with Plug and Play), Özyeğin University and Microsoft Turkey, an audience of entrepreneurs, incubator managers, university professors, corporate executives, VC investors and government representatives, Saeed and Mohannad discussed Plug and Play, its history and plans to bridge Turkey and the Silicon Valley.

“We were met with much excitement and enthusiasm,” says Mohannad El-Khairy. “We anticipate these meetings leading to an expansion of the Plug and Play family, in a very positive way.”
